Natalya’s AP Blog ;)

This is the blog regarding Kobe Bryant’s poem that we broke down and expressed how we felt about the words and art of his words.  

 Today we picked up on an assignment we started last class. We read Maya’s poem and annotated then wrote information in a chart. It was kind of fun finding the rhetorical strategies  with my friends and all in all it was pretty easy. The hardest part was probably making connections to maya’s life. So back to my party idea from one of my pervious blogs, I think if you did get different flavors of wings it should hot and lemon pepper cause black people love that, and if you get pizza make sure you get cheese because Talia doesn’t eat pork.

 Today class was mostly the bell ringer. The bell ringer led to this huge debate on BLM and Black history month. Some people thought that black history month excluded black people from others. At the end the day we deserve a month we’re celebrated for all the accomplishments we made in history. After the debate we read a poem by Maya Angelo, about how black people have separate from their culture. That was basically the whole class. We did t really get into all the work we were supposed to do due to the debate.

 Today we were suppose to finish the assignment we had from yesterday (Allison and Analogy). We didn't want to finish the assignment just yet so we decided to take this as an opportunity to have fun. Me, Miracle, Myriel, Mia, Ria, Shar'evan and Moses  played card games. We ended up playing gold fish, I declare war, and I think black jacks (maybe). We ended up playing mafia which is basically like 7up with extra roles. We had a really good time, I know I had a lot of fun. It was an experience full of laughter and fun, and A little bit of arguing between Mia and Ria. It was one of our best classes.  I feel like recently our class has been very good and we deserve a little party with wings or pizza like you use to do for your other classes, just saying :).
